IN PERSON: Sound Bath & Guided Meditation

Immerse in the Experience:

This Sound Journey is designed to bring us back into a blissful, relaxed and balanced state of mind and being, so that we can approach life from a place of harmony and balance.

The journey will start with a pranayama, focusing on the breath to draw us into the present moment. Followed by a chant to quiet the mind. And a guided meditation to melt you into the experience.

From there we’ll immerse in the vibrations of a sound bath, creating inner space for deep relaxation, which will aid in the release of tension, stress, and stagnant or trapped energy.

From within this state of being the mind, body and spirit are able to soothe, re-calibrate and restore while the central nervous system begins its process of repairing and replenishing.

Reiki Offering:

Participants will be offered the gentle loving energy of Reiki in our Sound Experience. Reiki is the energy of unconditional love, and when tuned into, and directed by a practitioner it can support with health, harmony and healing on a mental, emotional, physical and energetic level.

About the Astrology of the Month:

March is a massive month astrologically. Two of our most powerful planets are changing signs, shifting the collective focus, and our personal focus along new paths.

Pluto will be moving into Aquarius – this is a generational planet, that when tracked through time correlates to the cultural changes of each generation ie; those born in the generation of Pluto in Leo became the hippies and free love generation.

Saturn will move into Pisces where it will stay for 2.5 years. Satrun is the lord of karma and lord of time. When he moved into Aquarius 2.5 years ago, to the date, the world went into lockdown.

Saturn represents how we spend our time and his move into Pisces may influence our desire to be in service, to meditate and connect to our spiritual side, and to awaken the inner muse and artist.

Transformation is an inevitable part of the human journey, even so change can feel hectic.

Now is the time to strengthen our commitment to our self care, our connection to intentional community, and our spiritual and well-being practices.

About the instruments:

We will immerse in the soothing sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls that have been hand crafted and blessed by Monks. These bowls are made of seven metals that represent the seven visible planets, created with the intent to bring us back into harmony with the rhythm of life.

We’ll tune into the sounds of droning instruments and enter a light trance state as the monotones calm the mind and brings it to quiet.

We’ll bathed in the vibrations of the symphonic gong, which holds the sounds of the solar system, as recorded by NASA, allowing us to transcend the physical.

We’ll chant to tune our own instruments, our voices and bodies, and calibrate our being to sound codes that support our mental, spiritual, emotional and physical health

All this will happen within a soundscape of natural percussion instruments, infused with vibrational medicine.

And as we entrain to these sounds we will come into harmony with the vibrations inherent in nature, in the planets and the cosmos, and into harmony with our inner world.

About the Venue:

Kindred Warrior Yoga is situated at: 231 Main St, Lilydale VIC 3140

It is upstairs from the BFT Body Fit Training.

Kindred Warrior offers blankets, bolsters and yoga mats, but please BYO pillow, blanket, mat, or what ever you need to support you as we will be laying or sitting on the floor for the evening.

Accessibility

Kindred Warrior is a one flight walk up. If you require assistance, please let us know ahead of the event

There is a kitchen and two bathrooms available for your convenience, as well as a lounge area.

We will be serving tea and light vegan & gluten free snacks after the event.

Come a little early to check in, settle in, and make yourself a cuppa.

Parking and Transportation:

There are parking bays outside the venue, with unrestricted parking from 6pm, there are also parking bays behind the building across the street.
